1. Report of Housing Commission.

This report can scarcely be considered a
very satisfactory result of three years (nominal)
work. In short, the Committee have abandoned any
attempt to make detailed recommendations.
important recommendations briefly are:-

Committee be formed to advise Government on town
planning and housing matters.
2. That a permanent Town Planning and Housing
sub-Department of the Public Works Department be
created.

That when that preliminary work has been completed,

These seem to be obvious steps which the
Government should have little difficulty in
